All that goes on in art today happens in the light of that which has gone before. Whether knowingly or subconsciously, contemporary artists respond to or react against history.
In this exhibition of work by Judith Duquemin (uk/au), Jocelyne Santos (fr) and Bogumila Strojna (fr) we might consider, for example, the legacy of Mondrian, currently on exhibition at Centre Georges Pompidou.
